A note from peter@thewealthyattitude.com for Monday August 24, 2009
Good day all, Happy Monday, and welcome to a brand spanking shiny new week.
We're entering the last week of August and soon there will only be 1/3rd of the year left to spin your magic and fulfill those desires proclaimed in January. How are you doing with them? Are you on track? And...if not...why not?
Over the years of doing The Daily Reader I have noticed that while many people claim the are into "personal development", really they are just flirting with the concept, and are often still tied to their ingrained habits.
Recently I was introduced to a lady that really knocked it all out of the ballpark for me. She graciously agreed to allow me to feature some of her articles here for you, me best friends. You'll like what Dr. Jennifer has to say as you ask that very question....
By Jennifer Howard Ph.D.
Personal development is all about change, an over arching term that includes many different approaches to self-improvement.
BE EXTREMELY HONEST WITH YOURSELF
Personal development in its largest context could encompass anything that involves personal growth on all levels, meaning physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Exploring personal development takes a willingness to look at ourselves with extreme honesty and examine ways we want to change and improve.
